Two are always better than one

Lots of stuff to do today, both for pleasure and work. It developed into a lovely spring day after a cold start, that in itself was really invigorating. I had a good session the gym, I then had to sign some papers at our solicitors and then over lunch Marion said that she had a number of errands to run. These were all situated in a reasonably small area around the town. They involved quite a lot of fetching and carrying.

So with a great deal of graciousness I volunteered to act as chauffer for her, we also took my small Mini that is easy to get into the smallest parking space. It was a brilliant idea, not only did I deposit Marion at the door of all of the places that she wanted to go to, but I then managed to park almost outside to collect Marion.

All in all it took less than an hour to cover several miles and lots of different destinations. If Marion had done this on her own there would have been more pressure to find a parking space, it would have probably taken twice the time. It just proves that two hands are better than one. Teamwork is always the best approach.

However it only freed up some time to do some work for JLT, so it was not unalloyed pleasure.
